What is the Gold & Blue Fund?
Athletics are an arena for strengthening and celebrating the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity, grit, unselfishness, and perseverance. Principia athletes consistently perform at high levels, staying competitive with athletes from much larger schools. Most importantly, since athletics demands that students meet and master challenges and overcome limitations, they provide an excellent arena for learning more about Christian Science and the efficacy of spiritual healing.
Contributions to the Gold & Blue fund help to provide:
- Up-to-date facilities and equipment
- Team travel and training opportunities—including travel to competitions that athletes qualify for unexpectedly
- Recruitment of high-caliber coaches and student-athletes
- Advanced technologies for training and conditioning
- Uniforms
