College 1974 & 1975 50th Reunion Gift

The 50th Reunion Steering Board met recently about our reunion gift. Our thoughts and unanimous support are for two meaningful College initiatives:

The 1974 & 1975 50th Reunion Endowed Fund for Spiritual Seekers of Truth

Our fund seeks to rekindle that spirit and encourage student’s spiritual growth and understanding by providing meaningful activities that supplement Sunday School or church. These gatherings and events include on- and off-campus retreats, visiting guest speakers, hymn sings, Christian Science lectures in cooperation with the College Christian Science Organization, thoughtful podcasts, and interfaith panels are scheduled for this academic year. These programs are meant to reach and benefit the entire College student body of varied religious backgrounds.

Revitalizing the Bluffs Lookout Area

Do you recall the awe-inspiring view from the lookout on the bluffs? That sweeping panorama of the river has held a special place in all our hearts. Gifts will cover replacing the telescope with more powerful optics, refurbishing the benches, and repairing the stonework.
